Due to its reliability of operation the JOUKA ball valve with aluminium body has become a very popular control valve and shut-off valve with both manual and remote control.Applications:
Air and gas lines, lubricants, fuels and oils, coolants, active water lines,
sewages, flushing lines, powders, granulates, fire extinguisher lines, tank
vehicles, fire vehicles and waste transport.
Some advantages of the JOUKA aluminium body ball valve:
- light weight, smaller vibrations on pipe lines
- quick and easy to shut, lever position indicates whether the valve is open or shut
- easy to mount: with female BSP threads or welded or flanged joints
- easy to service and repair: can be removed from the piping without taking off the fastening flanges
- reliable and trouble-free operation in all positions and only a slight loss of flow
- can also be equipped with a pneumatic actuator
The JOUKA Ball valve is made of three parts, which is an advantage for the installation and service. Replacement or repair of expendable seats can be done easilbby only partly dismounting the valve.
The body with a built-in ball and seats is fastened between the flanges by bolts. The valve can easily be serviced by loosening and partly removing the bolts.
The body of the JOUKA Ball Valve is made of corrosion resistant aluminium. The ball is made of either anodized aluminium, carbon steel with hard chromium plating or stainless steel. The ball seats are of PTFE. Threaded, welding neck and loose flanges are of aluminium, steel, or stainless steel. The flange part of loose flanges is usually of aluminium. The O-rings of flanges and stems are of Viton. Valves are also available with O-rings of EPDM, NBR or PTFE.The temperature field is -40 °C to +130 °C, pH 4.5 - 8.5
